MCE Requirements
Beginning September 1, 2007, TREC requires a minimum 24 hour waiting period after a course is started. This means the course cannot be reported until 24 after registration even if you completed the course in less than 24 hours. Keep this in mind if you are close to the deadline for completing your MCE.
TREC requires licensed real estate agents to complete 15 hours of mandatory continuing education (MCE) every two years beginning the second year of having the salesperson real estate license. Three hours of Legal Update and three hours of Ethics Update is required. The courses below have been approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
